Our Travel Health Experts will discuss recommendations and requirements based on your destination/s, type of travel activities, current medication, medical and vaccination history. From the dangers of parasitic infections and sunburn, to vaccine preventable diseases and foods to avoid, our Travel Health Experts will give you all the tools you need to be informed and protected during your trip.
During your travel health consultation our specialists will:
- Discuss destination within the country you are visiting
- Discuss length of stay, accommodation and activities
- Assess your detailed medical and vaccination history
- Discuss travel history and any issues during previous travel
- Assess your Individual needs based on your itinerary
- Provide you with current information on health risks, recommended vaccines, and safety precautions
- Discuss precautionary measures for dietary and recreational activities.
- Administer vaccinations
- Provide proof of vaccination
How soon should I schedule a pre-travel consultation?
Ideally, you should schedule your consultation appointment 4-8 weeks prior to your departure, or, as soon as you have confirmed your travel dates. Scheduling in advance ensures you have ample time to receive your vaccinations and accommodate vaccines that require additional doses. Our consultations typically last 30-45 minutes and include a comprehensive itinerary and specific topics about your travels.
